Natural Kosher Sea Salt from Maine, 1 lb bag coarse salt. Chef's salt, solar evaporated, and no drying or whitening agents added. Certified Kosher, by Eastern Kosher.

Comes in heavy 4 ml re-closable bag. My coarse Specialty salt is irregular in size. Feels crunchy to the touch, the right size to use by the pinch, and to use as a finishing salt. Maine Sea Salt is natural Kosher salt, solar evaporated, with no chemicals added. Good for cooking, at the table. Not fine enough or dry enough for a salt shaker, not suitable for a salt grinder or salt mill. This is my favorite.

    So you can buy sea salt everywhere, right? but why wouldn't you buy local sea shore to table from Maine. I buy local and American and there is no better Sea Salt then from Maine

    I bought Maine Sea Salt when I last visited and was running out of it. Glad I could buy it online, as I can't seem to cook without it. Use it all the time. Great stuff.

    Fantastic Products

    We found Maine Sea Salt at Common Ground Fair. We now order it online and it's the only salt we use at our house. We switched to himalayan pink salt and Redmond's salt years ago and were thrilled to find a locally sourced product an even better replacement! The quality is excellent. We also like to get the grinders for friends at Christmas to share with them this fantastic Maine Made product.

    This is by far the best tasting salt we've ever used - I highly recommend it. Try the Apple Smoked Salt too, it is also amazing! Thank you for making such a great product - can't wait to try more of them. :)

    The only salt we use

    I have always used sea salt, but this is by far the best tasting sea salt and the only one we buy now. It is stronger so you don't even need as much but you can taste the difference. My family thought I was crazy, salt is salt, until I gave them a taste test on a slice of tomato. Now they understand.
