I purchased this salt last summer while in Maine. I have always loved Apple smoked flavor but had never tried it in a salt. It was FANTASTIC! Loved it on everything we grilled! Even liked it on roasted meats. Gave a taste to some friends and they asked me to get some for them. So, purchased refill salt for my grinder and a few extra grinders for them. Also purchased the variety pack for Christmas gifts for some folks that will really enjoy the choices! This is a great product and I'll be back for more!

I came across this wonderful product in Wild Wood Crest, NJ about 5 years ago. Have tried others, but nothing compares. I use this salt in most of my recipes. Looking forward to visiting Maine soon, and bringing more home. Thanks Steve.

Maine smoked salt is the best of the best! None other compare to the rich, deep, smokey flavor. shipping is prompt usually 2-3 days I am a bit disappointed with CS........didn't have success requesting a call back from the boss

This is really great stuff! The aroma takes you straight back to that perfect campfire. This salt adds a subtle but complex flavor to food. You definitely know it's there, but it doesn't take over your dish. Highly highly recommend!

The Apple Smoked Salt is the ONLY seasoning you need to prep your steaks and chops! Chicken and fish too! Rub a bit on both sides with a few drops of olive oil (and a little garlic if you like!) and let set for about 30 minutes and then it's ready to grill. The saying of "salt, sear and serve" comes deliciously true when you use the Apple Smoked Salt! Bon appetit!

I made a brine with this salt and maple syrup for chicken and pork. Excellent flavor!
