Picked this up at a craft fair a few years ago because I thought it was a cool concept; then I tasted it! What a difference from the salt I’ve bought at the grocery store! Now I buy it directly and don’t use anything else. If you think all salt is the same, you are wrong.

This is my favorite salt. It's a very luxurious necessity. Perfect consistency. I cook every day and am particular about my ingredients. This salt is great for baking as well as daily use on the table or stove top. There's no turning back.

Been ordering from Steve for years. No salt tastes as good as his and it feels like a healthy addition to any food. Strongly recommend.

Hi Folks,
I garden and included in my plan I do Jalapeno and heirloom Tobasco peppers. Some of which get home canned and lots
of the others I make my own blends and hot pepper mash by
way of the Avery Island (Tabasco) method. Just peppers and
your fine granular salt some aromatics and lime or lemon.

This is a very good salt, that complements all the foods that you use it on. At first, I didn't think it would make a difference, however, I was wrong. How it's made makes a difference and coming from Maine does also. It's a good buy.

Picked up a gift jar while in Maine for my daughter.
She said it was the best salt she ever had and it adds that extra special taste to her vegan recipes .
I had to order her a 1 lb bag for Christmas.
Thanks for a wonderful product

I grow my own herbs and then sell herbal products at my local farmers market. I really wanted to use a local salt for my herb salts and came across the Maine Sea Salt Company and decided to order a pack to see how it would work out.
I was very impressed, the salt is so flavorful and tasty, and so far, pairs really well with the herbs.
I also usually add extra salt to my dishes, and boy, with their salt a little goes a long way! It is way more salty than regular table salt, or pink salt. I think I've found my new favorite salt company.

Love salt. Skeptical of pink, chemically processed crap you can buy from stores or the internet. While I have not visited this Maine sea salt plant, I have watched the video and ordered products from here. The flavor is amazing and the product is the best salt I have ever tasted. Knowing that this salt was once part of the Atlantic off the coast of Maine makes me smile when I put it on food. You may be as impressed as I, if you give these nutritious, delicious products a chance.

Maine Sea Salt, in the fine flake, is a lovely salt for the table. There is just enough moisture for it to cling to other flakes, but not so much that it is lumpy. The flavour is lovely.

This product is fantastic, however I don't think the packaging appropriate. Great salt always comes in glass. Plastic always leech out chemicals over time. That's just my opinion.

We have used Maine Sea Salt for years after trying many others. There's a clean, natural taste that enhances all food.
Try it....you will never buy another salt!

Reminds me of why salt was once used as currency. This salt tastes light and healthy and is good for the body. It has a natural, unpolluted taste and feel, with no chemical aftertaste. Unlike the "salt" you can buy in the cardboard tubes in the grocery store, this is a real, whole food that supplements your diet and adds minerals and nutrients. Love it.

Wonderful product! We love the fact that it is locally sourced and no anti caking agents are added that destroy the taste. The quality is superb.
Thank you.

All of these salts are incredible, but the garlic is our absolute favorite. So much so we just bought 4 pounds and are hoping they will last us 4 months. We use these salts for everything. Last week we had a family gathering (had family from TX) and my husband encrusted a roast with Apple Wood Salt and smoked it in apple wood. It was eaten faster than we could cut it.
I love the garlic and put it on everything, cottage cheese, dinner (what ever it is) and my favorite is grilled cheese sandwiches.
Best find I ever made.

We have used this product for 2 years, and there is no comparison. I know, because I've tried to find other sources as I've traveled. Nothing else comes close for this household. PLUS, it's made in the USA.
Thanks for being there for us!

I've become very interested in my health issues and have come to believe that what I eat is the first line of defense to improve my life. The kind of salt we eat may come as a bottom of the list item, but when I got to It I was surprised at the importance that unprocessed natural sea salt can mean to your over all health.
Then I began to search for the best quality on the market. So I tried a large number of recommended types, and after a year of searching numerous types to sample, I conclude that none compared to Natural Maine Sea Salt, in quality and taste.
It also makes a great gift for people who appreciate high quality products.

Delicious. It adds to the quality of the food it goes with, and it comes from the sea off the Maine Coast. How can you go wrong?—you can't.

This is by far the best tasting salt anywhere, ever.

Wonderful for table or cooking/baking - none of the bitter aftertaste, as is common with so many supermarket salts, and local for us, too!
Expect this salt to get a little damp in its container -- that's not a detriment, but evidence that there are no artificial anti-caking agents in there. Try an old-fashioned salt cellar over a shaker, and it works just fine.
