Natural Kosher Sea Salt from Maine, 1 lb bag coarse salt. Chef's salt, solar evaporated, and no drying or whitening agents added. Certified Kosher, by Eastern Kosher.

Comes in heavy 4 ml reclosable bag. My coarse Specialty salt is irregular in size. Feels crunchy to the touch, the right size to use by the pinch, and to use as a finishing salt. Maine Sea Salt is natural Kosher salt, solar evaporated, with no chemicals added. Good for cooking, at the table. Not fine enough or dry enough for a salt shaker, not suitable for a salt grinder or salt mill. This is my favorite.

Solar evaporated and Hand Harvested on the Coast of Maine. In Green Houses evaporate sea water from the coast of Maine. Maine Sea Salt hand-harvested with care. No heavy machinery. Not dried in a oven or kiln. No additives, whitening agents, or drying chemicals.

Chefs use to marinate.  Enhances the flavor of any dish. Maine Sea Salt has a unique taste, bursts any dish with flavor. Use in baking, cooking, home made pretzels, fermenting vegetables, decorating salted caramel candies. The coarse salt, baking, soup, chowder, vegetables. The unique taste of Maine Sea Salt will make you a loyal customer. If you don't believe me, read the reviews!

    Flavor

I am not a salt expert but I have tried several from different companies. THIS is my go to salt company for sea salt and smoked salts. I can taste the difference and it enhances everything I cook with it!

    Fresh/ Good Taste

I like using sea salt knowing that the trace minerals are still present - even if in small amounts. This sea salt has to be far fresher than the salt that sits on the grocery shelves, especially true after seeing the process and having it personally explained by the wonderful owner of the Maine Sea Salt Company. BTW it also makes the food taste great. I like the coarse salt for my grinder that goes on the table.

The only salt I buy now

I've pretty much switched over to the Maine Sea Salt coarse salt for all of my cooking and on the table top. I use the coarse salt straight as a finishing salt, and I've got one of their grinders that I re-fill with it, and use that for cooking and seasoning and at the table. It's absolutely delicious and I love that I'm consuming a Maine product!

My favorite salt. Ever. Gorgeous finishing salt - just the right amount of crunch. A little goes a long way but there's no reason to be stingy

I've purchased this salt for several years. I use and put on everything. I love the video on how they harvest the salt from the ocean and evaporate in their evaporators.

    The Best

An outstanding salt. A bit more trouble to work with because of its natural moisture content, but the full salty flavor, with a hint of the Atlantic, enhances almost any food.

I keep my in a pottery dish I purchased at Silver Dollar City Pioneer Theme Park in Branson , Missouri. I use this salt for EVERY use. I love the fact that it is straight from the ocean and unadulterated.

This is the salt that so many top chefs around the country covet! The waters of Far East Maine are crystal clear, cold and well, salty! The coarse ground is great sprinkled on any food and adds the perfect salty crunch to bring out the best in any dish. Maine Sea Salt Rocks!
