I salt cure a piece of salmon with dill. Like the Norwegians do. The smoke taste imparted into the fish tastes like it WAS smoked. So natural, so delicious on steaks too

I mostly use it on popcorn. I'm happy to have a product with this great taste and no chemicals! It is an important part of my kitchen.

Maine smoked salt is the best of the best! None other compare to the rich, deep, smokey flavor. shipping is prompt usually 2-3 days I am a bit disappointed with CS........didn't have success requesting a call back from the boss
the only other dilemma is which do I use tonite? Hickory or Apple

The Hickory Smoked Salt is the ONLY seasoning you need to prep your steaks and chops! Chicken and fish too! Rub a bit on both sides with a few drops of olive oil (and a little garlic if you like!) and let set for about 30 minutes and then it's ready to grill. The saying of "salt, sear and serve" comes deliciously true when you use the Hickory Smoked Salt! Use it in eggs, on fresh tomatoes, in kale salads, soups or stews. This is the only place to get this great salt, with this kind of flavor. Burgers are not a frequent occurrence in my kitchen but when do crave them this is the only seasoning my husband wants. It gives a nice smoky flavor even when you can't get the grill out.

Literally, the best salt ever! I first got it for myself to use for steak rubs. My girlfriend is a vegetarian. She tried it And uses it on everything! She sometimes catches me grinding small portions of it into my hand and licking it. Haha! Deeeelicious!
