First purchased Maine Sea Salt in a shop in Camden, Maine while on vacation. Found it makes everything taste better. Also found we do need need pepper, the sea salt is enough.

We use apple smoked salt on almost everything you would out salt on and a few things like green apples you would not usually associate with salt. Great flavor.

I received this as a gift for Christmas last year (2013). I quickly used up the entire container because it goes with everything! Excellent on chicken, eggs, veggies, french fries, etc. The grinder is a very nice, quality glass.

I first tried apple smoked sea salt at a home show in Fryeburg a few years ago. The flavor is so unusual that I have continued to buy it for myself and have bought several grinders to take as gifts for friends who value cooking and eating. Unbeatable on scrambled eggs, grilled pork chops, hamburgers, and even on crunchy apple slices!

As a chef, and Mainer living in exile ( I live in Arizona now) I believe the smoked salt is one of my personal favorites. I use it to rim margaritas for a crazy kick, same with bloody marys. I finish citrus salads with smoked salt - seafood dishes too - but the best is making buttery toffee and finishing it with smoked salt - unique and crazy delishious. This is my favorite maine sea salt product aside from the plain - perfection in a jar~
