Natural Kosher Sea Salt from Maine, 1 lb bag coarse salt. Chef's salt, solar evaporated, and no drying or whitening agents added. Certified Kosher, by Eastern Kosher.

Comes in heavy 4 ml re-closable bag. My coarse Specialty salt is irregular in size. Feels crunchy to the touch, the right size to use by the pinch, and to use as a finishing salt. Maine Sea Salt is natural Kosher salt, solar evaporated, with no chemicals added. Good for cooking, at the table. Not fine enough or dry enough for a salt shaker, not suitable for a salt grinder or salt mill. This is my favorite.

    I've purchased this salt for several years. I use and put on everything. I love the video on how they harvest the salt from the ocean and evaporate in their evaporators.

    The Best

    An outstanding salt. A bit more trouble to work with because of its natural moisture content, but the full salty flavor, with a hint of the Atlantic, enhances almost any food.

    The only salt I use

    I keep my in a pottery dish I purchased at Silver Dollar City Pioneer Theme Park in Branson , Missouri. I use this salt for EVERY use. I love the fact that it is straight from the ocean and unadulterated.

    Best Sea Salt

    review???Can't...

    I was given a substitute instead that I cannot use in my grinder, then told I should have ordered something else that isn't listed on the website. When I asked how to order a refill bag for my grinder I got no response. I am looking for another product to replace this. I used to be proud that it came from my home state but no more. After seven years a loyal local customer, I am moving on.

    Now that I have tried this salt I don't think I can go back to the regular stuff!!!The flavor is a revelation. Wow! The texture is great: flaky/grainy, REAL. A Most Excellent Salt to add to your kitchen.

    ADDED GREAT FLAVOR TO OUR DINNER

    I ordered from a lobster company and this salt came with it. it was to be used to cook the lobster and potatoes. It added a delicious flavor to the potatoes and the lobster and I liked it so much I ordered more to have at home to cook with.

    Addicted and loving it

    Am delighted with this product. I use it daily, by the pinch, from a salt pig. It finishes my dishes a subtle, delightful crunch. The salt has an ever-so-slightly moist feel to it, which makes perfect sense. The salt pig helps me get the right size pinch. I love the fact that it is salty and the crystals are large enough to taste without being too big. I go through a pound of this stuff every three months or so, without apology.
