Keep your sea salt fresh and always in reach with these hand-thrown, ceramic salt pigs. The ceramic interior keeps sea salt free from clumping in steamy kitchens or humid climates. The large opening allows easy access. Reach in and grab a pinch of salt or use a spoon to scoop.
Because each is individually hand-thrown, there are slight variations in size and shape. Approx. 5-1/2 to 6-1/2-inch tall. Natural sea salt crystals sold separately. Spoon not included.

Meet Maine Potter: Joanne Kenyon
of Joken Pottery
Joken Pottery is a small pottery studio located in the foothills of western Maine. I have been creating hand thrown pottery for over thirty years, specializing in functional stoneware pieces designed to be both beautiful and useful.
The clay used is a durable stoneware blend that is strong enough to hold up to everyday use. All glazes are lead-free and safe for use with foods. Each piece is individually hand thrown on the potter's wheel, giving each a unique quality.
